Zilver voor Edith van Dijk op WK zwemmen in open water
08-05-2008: Edith van Dijk heeft op 8 mei op de WK zwemmen in het open water de zilveren medaille gewonnen.
Zaterdag wist ze zich op de 10 km voor de Olympische Spelen te plaatsen. De andere afstanden, de 5 en de 25 km wilde Edith van Dijk aangrijpen om te trainen; de 5 km om op snelheid te trainen en de 25 km voor het trainen van het uithoudingsvermogen. Die 'training' leverde een prachtige medaille op.

Hoi Jaap en EdithJullie zitten lekker in de sneeuw lees ik. Nou hier komt de regen gestaag uit de hemel en dat met 't jazzfestival! Erg jammer. Maarre....van harte gefeliciteerd met je zilver van vorige week! We blijven trots op je en leven met jullie mee! Sterkte met trainen en we blijven jullie volgen.

Currently we're covering only tandoros, but we're looking to expand to other weather in the very near future. Hurricane's are a bit different since citizens usually have several days notice, where as Tornados give only minutes.
